Since 1983, BRITISH THEATER BACKSTAGE with BARBARA ISENBERG has offered a special behind-the-scenes look at the arts in one of the world’s most exciting cultural centers. Originating in London, this eight day tour combines the best of current London theater and the opportunity to meet with leading British theater artists and critics.

The tour is led by journalist and author Barbara Isenberg, a long-time contributor to both the Los Angeles Times and Time Magazine, and the best-selling author of TRADITION! The Highly Improbable, Ultimately Triumphant Broadway-to-Hollywood Story of Fiddler on the Roof, The World’s Most Beloved Musical, and Conversations with Frank Gehry. She has hosted discussions on the tour with such theater professionals as actors Simon Callow, Fiona Shaw and Frank Langella and critics Benedict Nightingale and Michael Billington. Theatrical selections have included such new work as “Matilda,” “One Man, 2Guvnors,” “War Horse,” “Red,” and “Frost/Nixon,” all before they went on to Broadway or Los Angeles.
